Our Bump, Birth and Beyond Antenatal course is back!

Join us at BBB over two consecutive week sessions to find out about life after your baby is born.

These sessions are informal for parents to be, where you can meet other parents and prepare for the birth of your baby!

Week 1 is the Lancashire Healthy Young People and Families 0-19 Service session where Health Visitors will discuss:

  • What Health Visitors do
  • Baby brain development
  • Building loving relationships
  • Parental mental health and wellbeing
  • Keeping your baby safe
  • Coping with a crying baby
  • Feeding your baby

Week 2 is the Children and Family Wellbeing session where staff will discuss:

  • Safer sleep for your baby
  • ICON: Babies cry, you can cope
  • Emotional wellbeing of your baby
  • Emotional health and wellbeing in the perinatal period
  • How can I help my baby develop
  • Care of your newborn
  • Nappy changing and bathing
  • Family Hubs

Lancashire Bump, Birth and Beyond (BBB) Sessions

To view our upcoming scheduled BBB session dates and locations across Lancashire please click on the locations below or simply visit LCC Events page and search BBB.  You can also get in touch with your local Family Hub or Neighbourhood Centre for more information. 

If you are unable to attend a venue, we offer a virtual BBB session on first Wednesday of the month 12.30-14.00 with a Health Visitor present for questions; please contact us on 0300 247 0040.
