Due to the ongoing pandemic, and to help keep you and our colleagues safe we’re following national guidance and minimising face to face contacts. We will continue to support you through video consultation, telephone consultations and virtual clinics and we’ll see you face to face where this is safe, and the most appropriate way to support you in line with the national guidance.

How can we help?

Baby clinics for new parents take place regularly across Lancashire. They give you the chance to get general advice about caring for your child and to have your child weighed.

The World Health Organisation recommends that new parents take their babies to clinic:

  • 2 weeks- 6 months old: once a month
  • 6-12 months: once every 2 months
  • Over 12 months: once every 3 months

There may be instances where your health professional advises that more frequent clinic visits are necessary.
